The one way traffic system was introduced in Lumley Square in 1967, not without problems, as reported by the Skegness Standard local newspaper.
The photo shows two cars (arrowed) going the wrong way around the new system.
It’s interesting to note that there was a central reservation in the middle of the one-way system which is not there today.
The stationmaster’s house, just under the street lamp, seems in good condition in this picture.
