Railway Improvements at Skegness

The work of demolishing the old station building has commenced.
A new waiting-room, booking office and stationmaster’s residence are to be erected, and the entire lengths of the platforms are to be covered with glass roofs.
A glass covering for vehicles in front of the station is also to be erected.
The work of laying down a second row of metals from Skegness to Firsby will be commenced shortly.
