Watering the Streets of Skegness

Steps were taken to water the streets of Skegness in 1884, as the dust was causing annoyance to tradesmen and visitors alike.
A water cart was provided.
Messers Crawshaw and Heaton were instructed to erect a platform and new tank in the best position at the brickyard pit on the Wainfleet Road.
