Skegness Sunshine Monitor on Pier Saloon

One of Campbell Stokes recording instruments has been placed on the dome of the Pier Saloon through the liberality of Mr J Green who has kindly defrayed the cost of the same.
Observations in respect of the sunshine are taken daily by Mr Cash, the Piermaster, and forwarded by telegraph at 6pm to the meteriologicaloffice in London, and several provincial daily papers, in which the same now daily appears.
The Advertising Committee of which Mr Coermore Jones is chairman, are responsible for the cost of the telegrams, and the remuneration of the observer, and subscriptions in aid of the same will be gladly received by Mr Jones.
There is no doubt that it is an excellent mode of advertising Skegness.
