Cow killed by lightening

There was at Ingoldmells on the Lincolnshire coast on Friday morning, a terrible storm of thunder and lightening, with rain and hail: it began between three and four o’clock, when hail stones, said to be as large as filberts, broke several windows, and cut up a quantity of beans as if mown; a cow, the property of Mr Stafford, of Skegness, was killed by lightening.
