Raid on Bakers
On Monday last a raid was made on the Skegness bakers by our local police.
They were disguised as navvies (who are rather plentiful in our town just now) and had the effect of conveying that impression into the minds of some of our shopkeepers, but in some cases our tradesmen were ”too old” for them.
We hear that they did not succeed in getting a ”case”.
