News has been received at Skegness, Lincolnshire, where his father resides, of the death of Peart, the champion high diver.
He was killed while performing one of his dangerous feats at a circus.
He dived from a platform 70 feet in the air into a small tank on the ground, but, missing his aim, struck the edge, and was killed.
Peart is the diver who performed at the Royal Aquarium two years ago.
