A BULL ON THE LINE
Sharp, the driver of the 11.38 a.m. train from Wainfleet to Skegness, on Friday last, met with rather an unpleasant experience. When nearing the Cow Bank station, at which station this train does not usually stop, he saw a bull on the line in front of him. Whether fearing an attack from the ferocious animal, or to prevent what might have been a serious accident, he acted with the greatest discretion and stopped the train as quickly as possible. The railway officials at the station soon drove the animal from the Great Northern preserves on which it had intruded, and the train proceeded on its journey after a brief delay.
