PHOTOGRAPHIC VIEWS OF THE “SHANNON”
Mr. Smyth, photographer, Lumley Road, Skegness, has a large number of excellent photographic views the pleasure boat Shannon, which foundered in a squall off Skegness on the 8th of July. The negative was taken about three years ago, and the boat is shown under full sail with Edward Grunnill on board. They are being sold at sixpence each.
The two boatmen, Edward and Edwin Grunnill, are also shown in another photographic view of the lifeboat and crew as they appeared in the procession on the occasion of the recent Royal Wedding, only two days prior to the unfortunate accident.
