FIRST INTERMENT IN THE NEWLY- CONSECRATED BURIAL GROUND

On Wednesday last the first interment in the new portion of ground recently added to St. Clement’s Churchyard took place, the rector (the Rev. C. P. Disbrowe) officiating.

It will be remembered that the ground was consecrated in July last by the Bishop of Lincoln.

The deceased gentleman whose remains were interred on Wednesday, was named Henry Liversage, and was 70 years of age. He was a native of Liverpool, and had been here a short time for the benefit of his health, and died on the 30th ult.

A handsome marble cross is to be erected to his memory, and this work has been entrusted to Mr. J. Hall, monumental mason, Lumley Road, Skegness.
