ACCIDENT

On Monday last John Green foreman in the employ of the Earl of Scarbrough, met with rather a severe accident.

While engaged cutting wood with a steam circular saw at the brickworks Wainfleet Road, the saw caught his right hand and severely lacerated his third and fourth fingers, nearly cutting off the latter.

A few days since Elijah Atkinson fell while walking on the slippery road, and sprained his wrist.
