Skegness Police Inspector Mike Freeman is running for the second time as the Jolly Fisherman in the London Marathon on April 2nd.
Running the 26 miles plus in the full JF suit is no easy matter for not only do you get very hot with all that padding but the head tends to bounce around and bash you on the nose and shoulders.
Anyway Mike has decided to have another run to raise funds for the Romanian Relief Aid and the Macmillan Nurse fund and he deserves all the support he can get.
Also from Skegness police is Sgt Stephen Hill, running the race for the first time in aid of the British Heart Foundation and we wish them both well in this annual gruelling race.
