It was a case of home from home for vet Keith Barrand when he joined the Fenwold group of vets in Algitha Road, Skegness — a practising vet in Norfolk for the last four years, Mr Barrand, 27, grew up in Skegness.
It was while he was attending Skegness Grammar School that he decided to become a vet.
“I have always been interested in animals and I found I was good at the right subjects at school,”, he said.
After gaining A levels in Physics, Chemistry and Biology, Mr Barrand took a five-year veterinary degree course at the Royal Veterinary College in London. During his holidays, he gained valuable practical experience working with the Fenwold group and the Banovallum group in Horncastle.
