Coastguard Station Gibraltar Point 1859

The third annual statement of tbe “Lincolnshire Coast Shipwreck Association” has just appeared, and affords much gratifying testimony the paramount utility and importance of the institution, by which, it is proved, many lives have been saved during the past year. It has been ordered that the life-boat now stationed at Gibraltar Point be removed to Skegness, and that the boat-house be pulled down and re-built at the latter place; that a dwelling be attached to the boathouse at Donna Nook, and that measures be taken to improve the boat there, so as to render it more effective, until new one can be bought.
