Mablethorpe’s annual illuminations switch on event is set to light up the resort on Saturday, July 28 with fantastic celebrations, including a fireshow!
As well as an action packed evening of entertainment, there will be free activities throughout the day for everyone to enjoy.
The event, which has been refreshed in its format this year, has been organised and funded by East Lindsey District Council in partnership with Mablethorpe Town Council, Mablethorpe Area Partnership and Mablethorpe Tourism Forum.
Street theatre will take place throughout the resort from 10am, including Punch and Judy, Russell’s Circus and face-painting. There will also be a variety of beach sports to take part in including beach cricket and the Play Rangers will be on the beach whipping up exciting.
The free evening activities start at 7pm and the beach is set to come alive at 9.15pm with The Flame Oz International Award Winning Fire Show and a spectacular firework display!
The Dunes fairground will also have a special offer on rides at 99p a go from 7pm onwards.
