Skegness Chick a Tiller Girl

SAILING in the Queen Elizabeth for New York, last Thursday, was Miss Patricia Burrell, 19-year-old ex-Skegnessian and member of “The Wallabys,” a team of acrobatic dancers who have appeared in Royal Command Shows.
Educated at Skegness Grammar School and at Mundella G.S., Nottingham, Miss Burrell joined the famous John Tiller Girls some three years ago, and since then has appeared in top-line variety shows up and down the country.
Now a resident of Nottingham, Pat expects to be away for eight months. Her troupe are billed to appear in 28 of the 48 states. She began her dancing career with the “Skegness Chicks,” at the Skegness School of Dancing.
At Southampton to see her off, were her parents, Mr. and Mrs. G. Burrell, Mrs. C. Crook, 45, Sunningdale Drive, is Pat’s aunt.
