Death of Miss Hephzibah Neal, younger sister of Skegness’ first donkey man.
The death of Miss Neal occurred on Monday last at her residence in High Street, Skegness at the age of 67 Years.
She is a native of Skegness, being born in a house which stood upon the site of Messers. J. G. Crofts and Sons’ High Street premises.
The funeral took place on Wednesday last, the ceremony being conducted in St. Clement’s Church by the Rev. D. S. Rowlands. Afterwards the body was interred in the Churchyard in the presence of relatives and friends.
Floral tributes were sent by the following: Mrs. Porter, Mrs A. Pickett and Emily, Mr. and Mrs. Chester (Sheffield), Mr. and Mrs. Garton, Miss Garner, Mr. and Mrs. Hornell, Mr. and Mrs. Atkin, Mr. Cook and Mr. Bonnett.
The funeral arrangements were carried out by Messers. G. G. Dunkley and Son.
Miss Neal had been a member of the Skegness Perfect Thrift Dividing Club for years.
