The organisers of a charity fun run with a difference are hoping the event will be a record breaker and a festive cracker.
The Skegness Rotary Club are staging the first Santa Fun Run to be held in the resort on Sunday December 16th 2007 at 10-30am.
They are looking to attract over five hundred would be Santa’s to sign up for the 5k run which will raise funds for the Lincolnshire Air Ambulance and other local charities supported by The Rotary Club.
People participating adults and children, male or female can run, jog or walk the distance.
There is a registration fee of £10 (ten pounds) per person, which includes a Santa costume.
The Skegness Santa Fun Run (SSFR) starts and finishes at Tower Esplanade (by the clock tower)
